Child Within

First film co-directed by my niece Francisca Luiza Cruz de Matos – at the time she was 7 years old. The youngest collaborator for Social-Début. We decided to make this little film about us on a trampoline. Filmed on an iPhone.

Exploring new ideas with kids is so fascinating. Their view of the world is one we could all learn from. My niece is now 13 years old and really passionate about film and animation. I often wonder if this little project of ours kicked off that spark in her.
